Hey, all you lovelies!
Hope y’all liked the way I styled Deepika in my last post here. Until now, I’ve kept my posts and styling more of casual (so that its wearable for you guys!) but the moment I had my hands on this beautiful piece of jewellery, I knew (& was so excited) that I am gonna have to play dress up this time!
I have always been a person who looks for a certain level of comfort in every piece of clothing (pyjamas all day, precisely), hence my outdoor clothing preferences also reflects the same!
I don’t think I can express in words how much I love the two essential things used in this look, the maxi and the head-gear, separately, and combining these two things is just Like a Dream!
About the head piece, it took my breath away, the moment I saw it! It’s called the Ropes of Pearls by Gioielli. Knowing that the head accessories are a big hit right now, this is the most exclusive piece I’ve come across yet. The detailing & the finishing of this piece is just mind-blowing and the feather attached to it makes it So Fancy!
If you notice the pictures closely, Deepanshi changed my liner in the middle of the shoot because she wanted more drama on the eyes, also because I am big fan of extended liners (60’s child at heart, you see).
You may know, its not very often that I wear long dresses but this one just fitted like it was tailor-made for me! I love the pocket detailing in skirts & dresses (+1 to the dress). Also, the dress is backless (enough said) and I obviously bought it. The material, the cut & the details of this maxi are just the way I like my clothes to be; Simple, Fuss-free & Sexy!
I wore my off-white strappy heels to keep up the elegance of the look. Since the whole look is very subtle, I suggest that you go for dramatic eyes + subtle lips (like I have done here).
You may team up this bauble with any outfit & it alone is more than enough to turn all the heads! So, play sexy these summers at pool parties by giving your easy-breezy a twist with some statement jewellery!
Do tell me how would you rather style your maxi in the comments below.
