The Mulberry Crush is a tale of love at first sight (no, really!) I fell in love with this skirt the moment I saw it in Gona Khanijo’s wardrobe.
This Mulberry pencil skirt is a perfect buy for anyone who has a thing for skirts (or not, hah). Just remember to buy a perfect length for yourself, that suits your body shape and your height. I’ve been a little obsessed with plaid shirts lately, thanks to Gona for maintaining a good collection, this color was a perfect match & I couldn’t ask for a better one!
While I always wear my pencils with heels or flats, I just couldn’t ask her to do the same (you know? “I can’t walk in heels” tantrum). So what, here comes the time to experiment a little, we tried on these gorgeous ankle-length boots which also looked like high-ankle sneakers to me (Sneaker-boots, is it a thing already?)
Even after adding such pretty colors, the look was a little incomplete for me & it was time to add some baubles, a pop of bright pink on the neckline did the work with these awesome reflectors which happen to have the same tint (yay!) and a purple envelope clutch.
This look is a cross between casual & formal. Want to make it more casual? Change the top! Want to make it more formal? Change the shoes! Easy-Peasy!
So for all the girls out there who would rather keep their outfits less feminine, pair that favorite plaid shirt of yours with a super stylish pencil skirt and no, no heels! Go for sneakers! And some baubles ofcourse! Tell me in the comments below how would you style your skirt?
